Description School Based Mental Health Counselor LICSW - Swedish Issaquah campus SCHEDULE: 0.8 FTE; Operating Hours are Monday-Friday, 7a-4p PST. Position works when school is in session. NO WEEKENDS or HOLIDAYS. Summer months will be off as well, per School District schedule. *This role may require travel to multiple school campuses, resulting in the need of your own personal transportation. Mileage reimbursement will be provided by Swedish Health Services._ School Based Mental Health Counselor LICSW is responsible for providing case coordination and a full range of clinical social work services including but not limited to psychosocial assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, crisis intervention and resource referral, within a school setting. The School Based Mental Health Counselor partners with children, caregivers or adolescents when appropriate. They provide support/counseling, as well as connecting individuals with resources inside the school system and in the community. The social worker is guided by the NASW Code of Ethics and the Swedish Mission, Vision and Values in their daily practice. Providence caregivers are not simply valued - they're invaluable. Upon hire: Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker License (LICSW) Excellent clinical experience and ability to manage clients in crisis. Preferred Qualifications: Education in working in a school environment or equivalent education/experience or Experience in working in a school environment. Education working with families is preferred or equivalent education/experience or Experience working with families. 1-year social work/counseling with adolescent populations.
