Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled professional who will ensure their customer’s success with one of Fluke Reliability System’s powerful iconic brands; PRUFTECHNIK. PRUFTECHNIK offers production reliability and non-destructive testing tools, services, and training. As an NDT Service Engineer, you will be responsible for equipment service work, warehousing confirmation, pre-shipment inspection, on-site inspection, and repairs.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform field service data collection, routing, and reporting.

  • Primarily performs incoming inspection, shipment setup, on-site installation, and training for eddy current flaw detectors.

  • Perform on-site troubleshooting and repair of eddy current flaw detectors.

  • Perform factory setup, on-site installation, and training for flux leakage testing equipment.

  • Provide pre-service technical support, product education, and after-sales support services.

  • Service the machine as necessary.

  • Selection and installation of localized equipment.

Qualifications

  • Have an engineering degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.

  • Good oral and written English & German proficiency.

  • A positive attitude towards problem solving and tight deadlines.

  • Good organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to respond to urgent domestic and international travel needs.

  • Familiarity with Windows PC hardware and software.

  • Need to work overtime in service work as required.

  • in possession of a driver's license.

  • Have basic networking knowledge.

  • Ability to read electric circuit diagrams and drawings.

  • Ability to design electrical schematics is a plus.
