We are seeking skilled Maintenance Mechanics in Suffolk County, NY. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of machinery and equipment within our facility. You will be tasked with troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on various systems to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Proficient in working with electrical systems up to 480 volts.

  • Experience with 3-phase systems.

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical components such as motors, switches, relays, and control panels.

  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.

  • Inspect, repair, and maintain conveyor belts, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime.

  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues with conveyor systems and other machinery.

  • Replace worn or damaged parts and components to maintain optimal performance.

  • Perform lubrication, alignment, and adjustments as necessary to prevent breakdowns.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for machinery and equipment.
