Ride North Powersports - Ishpeming Parts Specialist in Ishpeming, Michigan

Ride North succeeds because we value the people and processes in place. The Parts Inventory Specialist is a combination of many different skills. Selling, ordering, organizing and keeping inventory being the key factors of the position. Having great customer service skills both in person and over the phone create the atmosphere that brings in our customers. With attention to detail, good listening skills, each customer will be able to communicate their needs, while you proceed to fill their orders, upsell additional parts, accessories, apparel, and riding gear that they may need or didn't know they needed.

What you will do:

  • Drive sales of technical and casual powersports and marine apparel and riding gear to in-store customers, phone-in customers, media customers, internet customers and internal departments
  • Educate customers on and sell gear and apparel related to motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, scooters, fishing boats, pontoon boats
  • Inventory management including ordering, receiving, and cycle counts
  • Create, maintain, restock, and organize displays in showrooms
  • Follow up with customers on special order items and status
  • May include sales at outside events
  • Participate in training, seminars, and staff meetings
  • Dominate Social Media and stay highly engaged to drive traffic
  • Dominate Chat Rooms and stay highly engaged to drive traffic
  • Maintain current and updated items on Ebay at all times to create a presence
  • Maintain returns/exchanges of parts inventory
  • Order, count, and verify inventory of parts, accessories, apparel, and gear for customer orders, special orders, and service orders
  • Additional duties may be assigned

What your Qualification you must have:

  • Highly Computer Literate with experience in mainstream office software products
  • Highly Organized with a predisposition towards systematic processes without deviation
  • Prefer cash handling experience.
  • Excellent customer service and solid communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new information quickly and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
