The Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation (PVSI) team includes Operations, Cards and Retail Services, Deposit Products Group, the Innovation Group, Treasury Management, Merchant Services, Payment Solutions, and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels and the professional services teams that partner with these businesses. PVSI's focus is on delivering the next generation of payments and deposit capabilities and advancing our digital and online offerings to design new customer experiences and products. Treasury Management (TM) is a key part of our Payments, Virtual Solutions and Innovation team. Treasury Management includes managing and optimizing our customers' cash flow and mitigating its operational, financial, and reputational risk. We focus on creating operating efficiencies, cost savings and time savings for our customers by delivering treasury solutions through a consultative approach.

The Northeast Treasury Management Sales team supporting the Middle Market segment is recruiting for a Treasury Management Sales Consultant 3 (TMSC 3) position in the Central NJ region. This position will be based out of our Iselin, NJ Regional Commercial Banking Office. The individual will be responsible for growing the Treasury business by understanding our client’s needs, providing appropriate consultative solutioning, pro-active servicing and maintaining a positive working relationship with our clients & prospects as well as internal stakeholders. The role is responsible for meeting annual sales goals and sales activity targets by developing and executing upon a business plan and strategy for key customer accounts, developing and executing regular calling programs, and analyzing customer needs. The role will partner with assigned Middle Market Relationship Managers and Business Development Officers in a consultative solutioning role to position Treasury Management solutions across their client base.

The individual must be willing to work in a fast paced environment, be very well organized, and be a team player working well with others. The role requires the development of product knowledge, solution sales methodology, pricing strategies, technical tools and sales process to be effective. The role works under the direction of the Division Sales Manager (DSM) and partners with other peer TMSCs in the footprint.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: sales, business development, or treasury management

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to actively participate on client calls and make presentations

  • Ability to be proactive, innovative and creative in meeting customer and enterprise needs

  • Ability to be successful in a cross-sell and multi-level sales environment

  • Strong prospecting, sales, negotiation, and influence skills

  • An active Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of treasury management product and services

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
