Siemens Financial Services (SFS), Risk Controlling and Credit Rating Americas is hiring a Loan Closer, Syndication.

In this individual contributor role, the qualified candidate will actively onboard new deals and manage lead agent loan syndication transactions and Complex loan restructures of the $15B Loan Syndication portfolio related to the Par Lending, Bilateral, and Direct/Lead agent loans. The Loan Closer, Syndication, will ensure the accurate booking of new Loan IQ deals and Amendments, Closing, and booking of primary and secondary trading activity, including closing fee-related payments. Work directly within Operations, IT, Business segments, and Accounting on portfolio-related documentation and transaction management.

As a Loan Closer you will:

  • Recommend and initiate programs, projects, and process improvements to drive automation and digitalization of workflows.

  • Manage complex Loan IQ Deal Onboarding for Project Finance, Corporate Lending, and Structured Finance business segments.

  • Develops team members through mentoring and coaching in complex subjects.

  • Prepare and formally present in monthly portfolio review meetings.

  • Liaise with administrative agents regarding administrative details and tax and loan closing documents.

  • Gathering all required legal documents, including Trade Confirmations, Assignment Agreements, Purchase and Sale Agreements, Proceeds letters, Participation agreements, and multilateral agreements. Reviewing and interpreting commercial loan credit agreements

YOU WILL WIN US OVER BY HAVING THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4-year college degree with a focus on Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting

  • 5+ years of experience in the following:

  • Loan syndication and proficient Loan IQ experience are necessary.

  • Electronic settlement systems, Loan IQ, and Clear-par

  • Working knowledge of the LSTA standard terms and conditions.

  • Calculating specific trading formulas, such as delayed compensation, cost of carry, pay-downs, and maintaining a loan position inventory.

  • Critical thinking, effective time management, organizational, interpersonal, and communication (verbal & written) skills required.

  • Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of credit, audit, and portfolio management and a general understanding of new business development and loan administration.

  • Team-oriented mindset and maintain accountability.

  • Ability to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future.

  • The pay range for this position is $79,000 - $135,400 and the annual incentive target is 15% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
