Job Description

Job Summary

Great opportunity to shape our compensation programs by performing crucial compensation analysis, design, and administration of programs. Consult with and advise HR partners and leadership on optimal design of compensation programs and pay decisions. Perform complex analysis and conduct research on competitiveness of base and variable pay programs, providing analytical support, enhancing compensation offerings, and influencing alignment to market and changes where needed.

Job Duties

  • Take the lead role and manage projects from design through execution, including annual compensation review (merit and corporate annual bonus) cycle, annual benchmarking, salary survey submissions and analysis, market pricing and grade assignments, specialized projects (market studies, job family hierarchies, career framework and job architecture), variable pay (monthly and annual bonus) plan administration and analysis, geographic zone assignments, merit budget analysis, and salary grade structure maintenance.

  • Create and build complex models, dashboards, metrics, reports, and tools to help inform, forecast, and guide compensation decisions.

  • Influence program design by utilizing research and internal analysis to recommend changes and improvements to existing programs, leveraging analytics and insights from data to support recommendations. Provide insightful talking points based on analyses while driving the implementation of program changes.

  • Develop compensation recommendations for new hires, promotions, and other actions (special incentives and retention programs, etc.).

  • Support in the design, implementation and administration of variable pay programs (including sales and monthly bonus plans) to include cost analysis, program modeling, consulting with leadership on design changes, plan document updates, and administering the monthly calculations.

  • Augment and suggest edits to job descriptions, conduct job evaluations and market pricing, participate in and suggest salary surveys to maintain a strong salary survey library.

  • Assist with designing communication materials, manager training, change management, system administration, testing, and-user training.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred.

  • Four (4) years of experience in Compensation.

  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) or work toward designation is a plus.

  • Strong financial acumen; Excellent mathematical and analytical skills are required.

  • Experience with Workday is preferred.

  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel with an ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into insights and action. Power BI expertise a plus.

  • Working knowledge of legislation influencing compensation.

  • Strong analytical, written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

  • Solution-oriented and have a passion for being hands-on in problem-solving and execution

  • Market pricing and salary survey participation experience; Variable Pay Plan design and administration preferred.
