Citigroup Digital Software Engineer Senior Analyst in Irving, Texas

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Digital Software Engineer Senior Analyst for its Irving, TX location.

Duties: Design and develop internet applications using cutting-edge tools and technologies. Support implementation of new development methodologies in the Agile spectrum to transform development processes. Code, test, debug, implement, and document complex programs. Prepare detailed specifications from which programs are developed and coded. Ensure programs meet standards and technical specifications and perform technical analysis and component delivery. Prepare high-level design that is in alignment with CTO (Chief Technology Officer) architectural strategies and implement CTO strategic charter. Publish design patterns across lines of business and domain commonalities. Drive design reviews for Next Gen Architecture (NGA) and Plan of Record (POR) projects, supporting design principles and best practices. Work with stakeholders to implement design charters for application enhancements to be compliant with technology roadmap. Assist team in resolving problems in internet and mobile-based applications. Manage and deliver programs and planned projects. Manage vendor relationship to optimize delivery of projects. Lead process improvements and vendor efficiencies. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policy.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation in software development in the financial services industry. Six (6) years of experience must include: Identifying and evaluating new technology to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness, conducting technical analysis with tuning and optimization of existing name and transaction screening products; Writing Business Requirements and Functional Requirements and performing technical analysis associated with screening and workflow systems; Developing secured and highly interactive web applications that are cross - devices and cross - browser compatible using Angular, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, AJAX, JSON, CSS3, Invision and Figma; Designing and developing Enterprise microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and deploying to servers using Jenkins, Bitbucket, GIT, CICD (Continuous Integration-Continuous Development) pipelines, and RLM tools; Adding static contents and pdf files to Content Management System (CMS) by Adobe that are needed to render on Presentation layer; Developing Splunk Dashboards and writing Splunk queries to display project stats and monitoring APIs performance using AppDynamics; Performing system analysis, design and architecture fundamentals, Unit Testing (TDD), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities; and Logging and tracking issues through JIRA.
