AutoNation Business Operations Support Position Summary: The ACH Banking Lead is responsible for assisting the ACH Banking Associates with day-to-day activities, managing ACH banking technical resources, working support desk tickets, associate training, documentation of processes, and serving as the primary contact for the ACH/Trintech banking upload and/or problem resolutions. Organizational Relationships: Interacts with internal customers and external lenders at various levels, peers, supervisor and management. Job Responsibilities: Managing daily workflow for the ACH Banking team, including daily work assignments, monitoring automated processes, and providing on demand assistance for associates and management. Monitors team production to ensure daily SLAs are achieved and notifies leadership when at-risk. Review and respond to support desk tickets from internal, field, and corporate associates. Research all technology process issues, determine root cause, and work with technology teams and external partners to resolve them. Assist with and resolve issues escalated from associates with minimal supervisor assistance. Independently contribute to department projects. Assist in leading team meetings. Lead and manage team during supervisor absence. Train all new ACH Banking associates including creation of training plans and process documentation. Any additional duties assigned by management. Qualifications: Subject matter expert of AutoNation ACH Banking processes and systems. Minimum two (2) years accounting experience, preferably 1 year in ACH Banking role. Intermediate computer and Microsoft Office skills. Effective communications skills, written and verbal. Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as a team member in a deadline-driven environment. Highly organized with excellent follow-up and prioritization abilities. Demonstrates personal credibility by taking responsibility for actions and being reliable and trustworthy. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Additional extended education preferred. Results oriented, ensuring one’s own work is accurate and complete. Ability to obtain information from several sources to address present needs. Able to research and reconcile accounts utilizing lender websites and CDK functions (particularly ANRI). Requires little to no supervision to successfully manage the workflow. Demonstrates critical thinking by identifying issues, gathering evidence through research, evaluating options, and deriving conclusions, offering up appropriate solutions. Next Possible Position: ACH Banking Sr. Lead Physical Requirements: This is a largely sedentary role with extended period looking at computer monitors and using a keyboard and mouse.
