responsibilities:

  • Perform bench work using simple limit direct reading gauges and meters.

  • Build and fabricate setups on less complicated test systems.

  • Connect products to test equipment, monitor gauges and meters, and verify and record results.

  • Ensure compliance with safety requirements, including the use of personal protective equipment and safe operation of equipment.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area according to 5S standards.

  • Complete and maintain proper reports and checklists.

  • Work under general supervision, referring problems and questionable work to Lead Tester or Production Test Supervisor.

  • Participate in Lean Initiatives and Continuous Improvement activities.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

  • Occasionally work beyond normal hours as workload demands.

  • Maintain a 95% efficiency standard on completed jobs once fully trained.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).

  • 1-2 years of experience in Mechanical and Electromechanical Assembly, or Fuel, Hydraulic, and/or Pneumatic Testing.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Proficiency in simple math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers.

  • Use of direct reading and fixed gauges.

  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.

  • Commitment to Continuous Improvement and adherence to Safety Practices & Procedures.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience in Aerospace, Automotive, or Airline Maintenance industries.
