Description We are on the lookout for a meticulous and experienced individual to join our team in the Real Estate & Property industry, based in Irvine, California. The role of Tax Staff - Corporate is crucial to our operations, focused on planning, organizing, and ensuring compliance of Federal and State tax filings for our domestic operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in all aspects of Federal, State, and Local income/franchise and indirect tax compliance concerning domestic operations.

• Maintain the compliance tax calendar, determine nexus and related filing requirements, manage tax return preparation, and review all domestic tax returns and estimated tax payments.

• Participate and assist with ASC 740 calculations and related issues for financial statement reporting, including necessary financial statement disclosures.

• Prepare & file personal property tax filings, and other tax filings and reports as needed.

• Respond to tax notices and manage directly outside tax consultants and other third-party relationships.

• Monitor legislative activities and their impact on the company.

• Manage all aspects of Federal, State, and Local income/franchise, sales and use tax, personal property tax audits, and documentation of issues arising under such audits.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of the policies and procedures related to compliance with SOX Requirements.

This role will require a high level of proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, CCH Sales Tax, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, Microsoft Excel. Additionally, the candidate must have experience in Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, Cash Activity, and OneSource. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services.

• Experience with CCH Sales Tax.

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Understanding of various Accounting Functions.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Proven skills in Auditing.

• Familiarity with Cash Activity management.

• Experience in using OneSource.

• A degree in finance, accounting or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Knowledge of real estate and property industry is a plus.

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in tasks.

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.

• Willingness to continuously improve and learn new skills.
