Description

We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Senior Manager, Product Management-Technical to lead a team of product managers driving key Monetization initiatives for Amazon Alexa which is the world’s best AI-powered digital personal assistant. This product leader should have a successful track record of leading product initiatives from concept to successful launch leading to significant growth of product and business. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent product management and people management skills, a strategic thinker, and a strong communicator with excellent cross-org collaboration skills. The Senior Manager, PMT will have proven track record in leading team of product managers including recruiting high caliber PMs, and coaching them to drive strong performance. Experience in the following domains is preferred: e-commerce, online advertising, search, AI powered personal assistants, and related areas.

As Senior Manager, PM-T for Alexa Monetization, you will lead a team driving product strategy, product definition, design, launch, and go-to-market for mission critical initiatives for Alexa Monetization. You will collaborate with engineering, business and partner teams to develop and launch new product initiatives, and maintain ownership over the product roadmap for areas of your responsibility. Your work will impact hundreds of millions of customers world-wide and drive significant growth for Alexa.

Key job responsibilities

Drive the development of product strategy for Alexa Monetization.

Lead a team of product managers driving Alexa Monetization initiatives.

Create buy-in for the plan across the Alexa organization and partner teams in Amazon.

Create product roadmaps for the key areas you are leading.

Hire, coach and deliver strong performance with a team of high performing product managers

Partner with engineering and partner teams to drive product launch and business growth.

About the team

Alexa Ads/Monetization team leads all ads driven monetization initiative for Alexa digital personal assistant, and enables highly relevant experiences for customers while providing a scaled economic model for Alexa.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of team management experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • 10+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
