As a Senior Firmware Test Engineer specializing in Security in the Solid-State Drives (SSD) group at Micron Technology, you will develop test plans, test cases and infrastructure to validate and verify security firmware for Solid State Drives using NAND Flash memory. This involves creating test plans and designing automated white-box and black-box tests to fully test the security implementations for new high-performance mass storage controllers. Your tests will be used to verify the security protocol implementations meet industry standards as well as verifying the SSDs do not have any security vulnerabilities. You can expect to work closely with engineering project management, fellow firmware test engineers, firmware developers, and system hardware design engineers to solve cross-functional design issues.
Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and 12 months of experience in the job offered or in a Firmware Test Engineer-related occupation.
$125,000 to $177,000 per Year
