Robert Half Staffing Agency, a premier recruitment firm, is partnering with a distinguished Financial Advisory organization to fill the position of HR Generalist. Our client is dedicated to making a positive impact in the community and is seeking a passionate individual to join their team.

Job Description:

As an HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the human resources functions of our esteemed Financial Advisory client. You will work closely with HR managers and executives to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, as well as provide support in recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process.

  • Coordinate new hire orientations and assist in onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.

  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.

  • Handle employee relations issues and provide guidance to employees and managers on HR-related matters.

  • Administer benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries, in collaboration with benefits providers.

  • Process payroll and ensure accuracy and compliance with payroll regulations and policies.

  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.

  • Provide support in organizing and coordinating employee training programs and events.

  • Assist in maintaining compliance with non-profit regulations and reporting requirements.

  • Perform other HR-related duties and special projects as assigned.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

  • Previous experience in an HR generalist or similar role preferred.

  • Knowledge of HR functions, employment laws, and regulations.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.

  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Experience working in the non-profit sector is a plus.
