Embedded Software Engineering opportunity in Irvine, CA

Company is a global medical company manufacturing and distributing surgical devices dedicated to ophthalmology in over 90 countries.

Description:

Responsible for the design and development of products for surgical devices.

  • Assist in the development of system requirements and product prototypes

  • Lead product development activities throughout the software life-cycle

  • Ensure compliance is met (regulatory, statutory, legislative)

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 10 years of Medical Device experience

  • Knowledge of Med Device development ISO standards

  • Document and Source Control experience

  • Experience leading a design team

  • Proficient in C/C++

  • Experience with MATLAB Simulink

  • Familiar with ARM and Sharc DSP microprocessors
