We are currently seeking level II and III CNC machinists at our Irvine, CA location. This position sets up and operates computer numerical control (CNC) machines for production, ensures machinery has proper computer program and tooling installed, and monitors machinery for any problems during production. A successful CNC machinist is safety-focused and understands the importance of precision and quality.

This is a weekend day shift where you will work from 6am to 7pm (including lunch and breaks) on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. You will train Monday-Friday from 6am to 2:30pm.

Position responsibilities include :

  • Performing visual inspections on incoming raw materials

  • Operating CNC machines and properly using inserts, fixtures and tooling

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints

  • Machining parts to meet customer tolerances for final inspection

  • Working closely with manufacturing leadership and fellow team members to achieve shared goals

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Mechanically inclined

  • Experience in a machine shop environment

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

  • Ability to lift 25 pounds

  • Dedication to safe working practices

  • Ability to problem solve with a strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Writing and preparing programming

  • Experience setting up and operating CNC Machines

  • Ability to read drawings and understand dimensioning and tolerances

  • Ability to read micrometers and calipers

Hourly Pay:

Level II $25.00-$30.00/hr.
