Capchem Technology USA Inc. Sourcing Engineer in Ironton, Ohio

About the job: We are looking for a motivated Sourcing Engineer to support Capchem US project in its construction and operation phases. If you are a detail-oriented professional with strong engineering knowledge, excellent communication skills, "zero to one" mindset and a desire to work with global team, we would love to hear from you! Primary Responsibilities: • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities • Gather and assess supplier information via web research, on-site visit, in-person or remote meeting and etc. • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and specifications for services and products in need • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies for engineering services, facilities and materials, including construction services, electrical instruments, pipe & fitting, valve, hardware, steel and others • Responsible for technical and commercial clarification • Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to ensure cost-efficiency and compliance with terms and conditions • Work closely with engineering and quality teams to ensure smooth operation of procurement processes • Track and monitor supplier performance using data analysis tools to identify areas for improvement • Maintain the SAP procurement database, including purchase order creation, inventory management, invoice processing and other tasks Required Qualifications: • Eligible to work in the United States legally. (US Citizenship, permanent resident or proper work visa status) • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems • Fluent in English • Ability to travel 25-50% of the work time for business meetings and site visits Preferred Qualifications: • Skills in CAD , PROJECT, WSB or equivalent software • Degree in chemical engineering or machinery engineering or a related discipline • 3+ years relevant experience in sourcing or procurement engineering Resumes:  frieda@capchem.com
