Our client has a brand new opportunity for a qualified Level 2 Technician to join their team onsite in Iron Mountain, MI.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide hardware / software / network problem diagnosis / resolution via telephone / email / chat for client's end users

  • Provide IT vendor customer service

  • Serve as primary contact for client's IT vendors for system implementations

  • Test IT implementation as required: network access, wireless, telephony

  • Coordinate and manage relationships with client's vendors and client's local and remote support staff

  • 'Hands and feet' for implementation and support for all IT service areas for Client's new office

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 to 5+ years of deskside PC support, customer service, and support experience with problem solving involving hardware, software, and networks

  • Experience with assisting the implementation of IT required

  • Extensive experience in Desktop with Windows based support

  • Previous experience supporting laptop, desktops, servers and / or printers

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Able to provide support on own with limited oversight

  • Hands-on work experience with the following

  • Windows Operating systems

  • Some experience with Mac support

  • Imaging desktops and laptops

  • Knowledge of Active Directory

  • ITSM ticketing workload management

  • MS Office 365 suite / MS teams
