WTW Head of RE&WS Programs and Program Management Office in Ipswich, United Kingdom

RE&WS is a critical component of the WTW Enterprise Delivery Organization (WE DO), comprising:

Corporate Real Estate – delivering transactions, office designs & construction and workplace strategy

Facilities Services – ongoing management, maintenance, sustainability and health & safety for workplaces

O&IM – financial oversight, data management of RE&WS activities, using occupancy data to shape the workplace and workplace technologies that supports in-office collaboration and mobility

With the completion of Transformation, there is an opportunity to streamline RE&WS, aligning to the WE DO centralization program, creating efficiencies. The new role will:

Centralize strategic program and project governance across RE&WS, ensuring effective evaluation, prioritization, delivery and financial tracking, ensuring a strategic focus to change

Implement a new RE&WS stakeholder management model, improving business and internal engagement

Develop mechanisms to share best practices in project and cost management across RE&WS

Design and implementation of a new TOM for RE&WS, aligned with WE DO centralization

Work with IT to ensure all strategic workplace related initiatives are planned, coordinated and communicated

Accountabilities

Design and implement industry best practice strategic program/project management governance across RE&WS, aligning with WE DO, including effective financial governance and reporting

Target Operating Model review in line with WE DO centralization, focused on talent retention and post-Transformation workloads, with clear development and succession planning processes

Implement global, pan-RE&WS program/project governance meetings to ensure strategic projects are delivered

Develop new relationship model within RE&WS, to ensure effective business and internal engagement

Develop Centres of Excellence across RE&WS to share best practice, reducing costs and time to market

Work with IT to develop an effective model for strategic program oversight for workplace change, ensuring all changes impacting offices are prioritized, coordinated, communicated and delivered effectively

RE&WS wide cost management initiative, to reduce third party costs through effective supplier management

Create a new post-Transformation Balance Scorecard to demonstrate continued RE&WS value add

The Requirements

Solid experience as a Program Director/Head of PMO, PRINCE 2 Practitioner

PQE as a qualified accountant

Results-focused, directing and delivering strategic programs in complex, matrix-managed, global blue-chip companies ($50m costs, benefits)

TOM strategic design, delivery, including rightshoring ($50m+ benefits)

Balance Scorecard design and implementation

Strategic, innovative & lateral thinker, translating ideas into benefits

Extensive experience in defining and implementing program governance

Directing CXO level Steering Committees, RAID, cost management, benefits realization

Industry leader in program/project management best practices

Collaborative, inclusive leader, who creates “followership”

Leads through influence, to bring teams together to deliver benefits

Excellent communicator, negotiator (written/oral) up to CXO level

Coach, mentor, using situational leadership to develop colleagues

Detailed understanding of RE&WS, IT and their component parts
