Sprague is seeking a Truck Driver to join the Lawrence Operations team to deliver petroleum products to our customers via heavy commercial vehicle in the tri-state area (NYC, Long Island, Westchester, Connecticut and New Jersey).

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering petroleum products from location to location via heavy commercial vehicle
  • Loading petroleum products onto the vehicle (may involve climbing ladders, walking on top of a vehicle, and moving oil chutes)
  • Off loading petroleum products at customer locations (may require same skills as mentioned above and /or carrying/pulling a hose)
  • Reconciling truck shipping and loading documents including DOT documents (i.e., timesheets and pre-trip inspection sheets)

Qualified candidates for this role will have the following:

  • CDL A with Hazmat Endorsement required
  • Ability to pass DOT physical exam
  • 5 years' experience driving/delivering petroleum products
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Flexibility to work in in a 24/7 - 365 day a year operation that includes day and night shifts
  • Ability to sit for 30 minutes to upwards of 2 hours while driving
  • Ability to stand for 30 minutes to 1 hour while unloading vehicle
  • Ability to walk to and from the vehicle (50 to 300 feet at one time)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Pay range: $31.89 to $35.25 per hour based on experience.
