We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement US AFRICOM’s mission objectives.

What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, PowerBI Developer . This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, USAFRICOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany. This position is required to travel OCONUS.

Responsibilities:

PowerBI Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive and visually appealing PowerBI reports and dashboards.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements.

  • Implement data models, transformations, and DAX calculations to meet business needs.

Data Integration and Transformation:

  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into PowerBI.

  • Work with data engineers and database administrators to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

  • Optimize data models for performance and efficiency.

Data Analysis and Visualization:

  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

  • Create compelling visualizations to effectively communicate complex data to business users.

  • Provide recommendations for data-driven decision-making.

Report Maintenance and Optimization:

  • Monitor and troubleshoot PowerBI reports for performance and data integrity.

  • Update and maintain existing reports based on changing business requirements.

  • Implement optimizations to enhance report speed and efficiency.

Collaboration and Training:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and ensure alignment with business goals.

  • Provide training and support to end-users on PowerBI usage and best practices.

  • Stay updated on PowerBI features and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS + 7 years recent specialized or AA/AS + 9 years recent specialized or a major cert + 11 years recent specialized or 13 years of recent specialized experience

  • Active Secret Clearance (no waiver) with ability to Obtain and Maintain a TS/SCI clerance

  • DOD 8570 IAT 2 compliance.

  • Proven experience as a PowerBI Developer or Business Intelligence Developer.

  • Strong proficiency in PowerBI, including creating reports, dashboards, and data models.

  • Experience with data visualization best practices and principles.

  • Solid understanding of SQL and data warehousing concepts.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

$90,300 - 189,600 USD
