The traineeship at HP Comms (Volontariat) enables participants to gain professional development and insight into working practices at Boehringer Ingelheim’s headquarters. The position is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of different communication areas within the organization. Regular professional feedback will be provided to ensure continuous growth and development.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Support the team in executing global communication plans for various products and initiatives

  • Support the team in creating effective communication strategies and in the creation of content for various internal and external platforms incl. social media

  • Work with key internal stakeholders and external agencies to execute projects

  • Collaborate on various topics within the HP Comms team to learn an develop

  • Rotate within the wider Corporate Affairs team to learn about other areas of communication and broaden understanding of the organization

  • Participate in project collaborations outside of the immediate team to gain a diverse range of experiences

  • Engage in regular exchanges with other trainees to share knowledge, experiences, and best practices

  • Attend 1-2 external seminars or training session for professional development and further qualification

Your Profile

Minimum Education / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism, marketing, or other relevant field

Required Capabilities / Skills:

  • Prior proven experience in communications through internships or part-time jobs is preferable

  • Proficient command of English with excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in copywriting and editing

  • Working knowledge of MS Office; photo and video-editing skills is an asset

  • Experience in digital/social media marketing is a plus

  • Outstanding organizational and planning abilities

  • Works well under pressure and tight deadlines

  • Develop a trainee plan in association with the reporting manager to enable a learning curve through the program; the trainee is responsible to ensure the plan is executed, along with the reporting manager

What we can offer you

  • A full-time traineeship is 37.5 hours a week

  • During your traineeship you will receive a wage of 2,800€ per month

  • You are eligible for a yearly bonus (VPR)

  • You will be given 2.5 days of paid time off for every full month of the traineeship

  • In our team we offer a hybrid working model in which you can work remotely several days a week!

The duration of the traineeship (Volontariat) is 18 months. Ideally, the start of the traineeship shall be in November. The earliest start date is 1st October 2024 . Please enter the desired period in your application.
