Boehringer Ingelheim Global Project Manager in Ingelheim, Germany

The Position

Boehringer Ingelheim seeks a dynamic professional to grow project management within the global supply organization and manage our LCM and GMSAT project portfolio. Utilize your skills to develop, implement and drive project management methodologies and your experience and knowledge to proactively manage risks and turn KPI insights into actionable next steps. If you are person proficient at using software, like Power BI, to link and analyze data, create reports and visuals along with a sound understanding of project management in science and/or supply chain management, we eagerly await your application!

Tasks & responsibilities

  • In your new role, you will manage and prioritize the LCM and GMSAT project portfolios, including performance monitoring through the Project Excellence Center and related performance indicators.

  • You will also be a 1-to-1 project management partner for colleagues in both LCM and GMSAT.

  • Furthermore, you will build and manage processes focused on project resources and resource management insights at both the local and global level.

  • In addition, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of project management roadmap items focused on continuous improvement and project management maturity

  • You will bring expertise to the continued growth of the project management methodology in Global Supply Animal Health, with a focus on bringing clarity, simplification and connectivity in the right amounts and to the right extent.

  • Finally, you will maintain and further develop IT tools and databases for project management, including making recommendations and upgrades for system efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Master or Diploma Degree in Science or Business

  • Professional certification in Project Management (PMP), LEAN, Six Sigma, agile management techniques preferred

  • Excellent project management capabilities and experience

  • Several years of professional experience in different functions within a Bio-/pharmaceutical or FMCG company

  • Sound understanding of natural sciences, manufacturing and supply chain management (proficiency/deep knowledge in at least one of the areas covered by GS LCM)

  • Compliance, regulatory and financial knowledge (e.g. CCM, COGS/International Costs, NPV, profitability)

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and fluency in English
