Compensation: Top Wages for position

Job Description:

This position involves working outside with your hands on a pipe crew for the installation of sewer, storm and water pipe. This position has the potential to work up to a foreman or operator position.

Job Duties:

Including but not limited to the following:

  • Cut pipe using a quickie saw.

  • Manually maneuver pipe.

  • Shovel rock, dirt, or sand.

  • Swing a sledgehammer.

  • Lay pipe.

  • Figure grades.

  • Climb in and out of excavations by ladder or earthen ramp.

  • Manually carry materials including bags of concrete, lumber, plastic pipe, grates, castings, etc.

  • Responsible for the care and storage of all tools they use and clean up.

Job Requirements:

  • Lift a minimum weight of 100 pounds.

  • Work outside in the elements.

  • Able to respond quickly and willing to assist with any job duties asked by Foreman

  • Be able to work well in a group setting as well as individually at times.

  • Self-sufficient

  • Able to follow instruction.
