Primary Purpose
To perform welding and fabrication of materials, equipment and supplies and perform general equipment maintenance and repairs.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
Basic mig welding of steel and aluminum.
Prepare, inspect, clean, diagnose, and repair all welding related equipment and materials.
Repair IM and roll off boxes, replace tarps, seals, bows, etc.
Operate forklift equipment to perform all general equipment repair and installation.
Perform assigned work in compliance with all Safe work procedures, guidelines, practices, permits and air monitoring requirements.
Endure safeguards for equipment and PPE while performing welding operations.
Repair products by dismantling straightening and reshaping.
Potential to weld components in flat, vertical, downhill or overhead positions.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education: High School Diploma or it's equivalent required. Trade school certification or advanced degree from accredited institution in welding preferred but not required.
Experience: Minimum 6 months welding and fabricating experience required.
Knowledge and Abilities: This is a safety sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function. Must have the ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
A post offer drug screen will be required.
