Conagra Warehouse Supervisor in Indianapolis, Indiana

Job Summary

Conagra Brands - Indianapolis, home of Reddi Whip and Blue Bonnet, is looking to add to our team to help us meet the demands of our customers across the country. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will work onsite at the Indianapolis, IN manufacturing plant on West 62nd St., primarily on 1st shift. You will lead team members engaged in lifting, transporting and loading materials for shipment or storage. Coordinate warehouse activities for incoming/outgoing shipments and a smooth flow of raw materials to the production lines. Oversee the processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment. Schedule work for special and periodic inventories and determine work procedures, schedules, and expedite our workflow.

You Will:

  • Coordinate warehousing operations and production needs.

  • Meet established quality, cost and safety performance objectives.

  • Oversee shipping/receiving operations to provide efficient handling of raw materials and customer orders.

  • Maintain warehousing rotation and hold programs.

  • Audit inventory for accuracy and obsolete product.

  • Enforces the plant's safety program including good GMP's.

  • Monitor warehousing area and employees to eliminate work hazards and unsafe acts.

  • Train, motivate, and monitor performance of warehousing employees. Recognize good performance and take corrective action when needed.

  • Resolve conflict and develop strategies to encourage teamwork.

  • Guide initiatives to reduce cost through labor controls, damage reduction, implementation of new methods and tools to improve productivity.

You Have:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • 5+ years warehouse experience

  • 3+ years supervisory experience
