ManpowerGroup System Administrator in Indianapolis, Indiana

Our client from Engineering industry is seeking a System Administrator to join their team. As a System Administrator you should have experience in Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, and Office 365 Applications, virtualization technologies, particularly VMware, knowledge of Cisco networking technologies.

Position: System Administrator

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Duration: Full-Time (Direct Hire)

Pay Range - $80-$110K PLUS All fulltime benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Exchange Server environments to ensure reliable and efficient email communication.

  • Administer and maintain Active Directory services, including user accounts, group policies, and security permissions.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Exchange and Active Directory services.

  • Provide ongoing support for Windows Server operating systems, ensuring stability, performance, and security.

  • Plan and execute regular patch management activities for Windows Server environments to keep systems up-to-date and secure.

  • Perform routine maintenance, updates, and monitoring of virtual machines to optimize performance and resource utilization.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve virtualization-related issues.

  • Maintain and optimize Cisco networking infrastructure to ensure robust and secure connectivity.

  • Implement and manage network protocols, routing, and security measures.

  • Collaborate with the network team to design and implement improvements to the existing infrastructure.

  • Implement and enforce security best practices across Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, virtualization, and networking environments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Proven experience as a Systems Engineer with a focus on Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, and Office 365 Applications.

  • Strong expertise in virtualization technologies, particularly VMware.

  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco networking technologies.

  • Relevant certifications such as MCSE, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are highly desirable.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
