Innovation Associates, Inc. Sr. Industrial Engineer in Indianapolis, Indiana

The Role:

The Sr. Industrial Engineer's responsibilities include analyzing operations, designing workflows and production processes, reducing inefficiency, and ensuring that final products meet the established design criteria.

What you’ll do:

  • Designing production processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste.

  • Developing and implementing process improvements and technological upgrades.

  • Preparing material and equipment lists, cost analyses, and estimated production costs.

  • Designing the layout of facilities and determining personnel requirements.

  • Training intern a l staff for new processes and providing instructions and manuals.

  • Interacts daily with customers and subcontractors to interpret their needs and requirements.

  • Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completes technical studies

  • Maintains internal & external communication as required by the project

  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Who you are:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Design, Facilities Management, Architecture, or related field

  • 5+ years’ experience in conceptualizing, designing, developing, integrated systems.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Willingness to travel as needed

It would be great if you also have:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications

  • Proficiency in using AutoDesk applications such as AutoCAD and Revit

  • Ability to work independently

  • Customer-focused

  • Results driven

  • Technical, troubleshooting skills

    Compensation: The estimated base annual salary range for this position is $81,900 to $112,612.50, though a candidate's base annual salary shall be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience. This position may additionally be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
