Aerotek Sr. Financial Analyst in Indianapolis, Indiana

Aston Carter is currently conducting interviews for a Sr. Financial Analyst opening for a large and sought-after company, here in Indianapolis, IN! As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will forecast revenues and expenditures and advise on future budgeting. Ultimately, you will ensure financial planning is healthy and profitable and aligns with business objectives.Description:

  • Develop financial models through benchmarking and process analysis

  • Forecast quarterly and annual profits

  • Prepare cost projections

  • Analyze and report on the current financial status

  • Conduct thorough research of historical financial data

  • Explore investment options and present risk and opportunities

  • Coordinate with the CFO and the executive team on long-term financial planning

  • Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement

  • Participate in budgeting (for departments and projects)

  • Perform detailed financial analysis including profitability analysis, operational performance, and return on investment

  • Review customer profitability reports of customer/SKU; from gross sales through Ebitda

  • Analyze areas for profitability improvement, identify trends, providing recommendations to drive financial gains

Top Skills Details:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 5+ years of Financial Reporting and Analysis experience

  • Experience with Reporting/Consolidation software

  • Full understanding of US GAAP

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint

  • Proven examples of creating quality executive level management reports

  • Experience with corporate reporting/consolidation software; Oracle HFM & FCC

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

  • Multi-site business; with global sites and in a manufacturing/distribution environment (reporting for multiple plant locations)

  • Oracle Software experience

  • Manufacturing/Distribution industry experience
