Honeywell Sr Field Service Technician in Indianapolis, Indiana

As a Senior Field Technician at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide technical expertise and facilitate to our customers in the Indianapolis area. You will be accountable for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and computer systems related to conveyors, sorters, and palletizers. Your role will involve regular travel to customer sites to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cover a territory throughout the Midwest-Northeast region to complete site visits and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical equipment for various customers.

  • 95% field work will work 55-65 hours per week, overtime will be offered.

  • All expenses covered including mileage or car rentals, flights, meals, hotels.

  • Complete necessary paperwork and documentation related to site visits.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role in mechanical or electrical industry.

  • Computer skills in MS Office products.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical or electrical issues with equipment.

  • Valid Driver's license.

WE VALUE

  • Hands on experience troubleshooting conveyors, palletizers, sorters or robots.

  • Experience testing equipment and working within computer controls.

  • Good written and oral communication.

  • Bachelor's degree or technical/professional certificate.
