Aston Carter Sourcer (Technical Recruiter) in Indianapolis, Indiana


This Client is seeking an open-ended indefinite contract Sourcer for their Talent Acquisition team. This individual would primarily source – this will be 95% of their role. They will not own a req load; but will partner with the full-cycle recruiters to identify talent.


  • 95% of role will be sourcing for qualified resumes/candidates – using Booleans, etc. They’d have access to LinkedIn recruiter, will have an Indeed account, and Talemetry which is the CRM platform.

  • They will be held to sourcing metrics and will need to track and document their pipeline of candidates. Roughly 30-40 outbound messages a day (via LinkedIn direct messages), 10 phone screens a week at minimum.

  • Reviewing internal applications on applicant tracking system and contacting candidates

  • Sourcing utilizing Indeed and LinkedIn, as well as other creative sourcing methods

  • Initial outreach to applicants via phone and email

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience sourcing

  • Previous sourcing experience in recruiting is a MUST– using Booleans, etc.

  • Front end sourcing experience – so the outreach to candidates, knowing how to use Boolean searches to find the right talent, crafting messages that increase response rates, etc.

  • Experience using LinkedIn recruiter, Indeed, Talemtery, etc. resume databases.

  • Core Values aligned (purpose, compassion, team, excellence)

  • Tech savvy - will need to learn ATS

  • Must have experience working with 25+ reqs at a time
