Neovia Logistics Quality Assurance Specialist_Shift_1 in Indianapolis, Indiana
JOB SUMMARY
The Quality Assurance Specialist position will perform and prioritize a multitude of complex duties in the areas of operations, including forecast analysis, grief resolution, slotting and product movement, composition of clear email communications, and reconciliation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete inspections according to prescribed parameters
Able to read blueprints and pass the test
Ensure conformance of material received to drawing specifications
Assist with QC returns inspection
Assist with claim processing and disposition of non-conforming parts
Utilize CRM system for inquiry response and management
Locate parts for customer service request for backorders
Read prints/technical specifications & interpret standards
Use of common measurement tools, e.g. calipers, metric tape measure
Knowledge of forklifts: parts application, component function, and basic knowledge of mechanical function
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma
3+ years of relevant experience in a distribution environment
SAP experience a must
Strong computer, analytical, and data entry skills
Good communication skills
Proven ability to work independently
Ability to manage and prioritize time and tasks
Possess a customer-oriented attitude
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Work requires moderate muscular exertion and/or physical strain such as frequently climbing or, recurring bending, lifting, or lowering of items weight up to 50 pounds.
