Neovia Logistics Quality Assurance Specialist_Shift_1 in Indianapolis, Indiana

JOB SUMMARY

The Quality Assurance Specialist position will perform and prioritize a multitude of complex duties in the areas of operations, including forecast analysis, grief resolution, slotting and product movement, composition of clear email communications, and reconciliation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete inspections according to prescribed parameters

  • Able to read blueprints and pass the test

  • Ensure conformance of material received to drawing specifications

  • Assist with QC returns inspection

  • Assist with claim processing and disposition of non-conforming parts

  • Utilize CRM system for inquiry response and management

  • Locate parts for customer service request for backorders

  • Read prints/technical specifications & interpret standards

  • Use of common measurement tools, e.g. calipers, metric tape measure

  • Knowledge of forklifts: parts application, component function, and basic knowledge of mechanical function

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a distribution environment

  • SAP experience a must

  • Strong computer, analytical, and data entry skills

  • Good communication skills

  • Proven ability to work independently

  • Ability to manage and prioritize time and tasks

  • Possess a customer-oriented attitude

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Work requires moderate muscular exertion and/or physical strain such as frequently climbing or, recurring bending, lifting, or lowering of items weight up to 50 pounds.
