ABM Industries Project Worker in Indianapolis, Indiana

Overview

Jobholder is responsible for performing tasks listed here in and/or otherwise assigned by the immediate supervisor. Jobholder shall act in accordance with all rules and follow all safety procedures.

Essential Duties: Includes but not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Reports to work at designated time.

  2. Checks with immediate supervisor to receive any special instructions and/or precautions related to assigned area.

  3. Some of the normal functions of the Project Worker are to change filters, clean machines, construction clean up, lighting maintenance, route coverage, floor scrubbing, and other special projects as requested.

  4. Report to supervisor at the end of shift.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representatives of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  1. Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Must be able to effectively present information to supervisors.

  2. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral and diagram form.

  3. Certifications: The only certifications for this position are any that are required by the facility where the work is performed. Any needed, will be trained and certified at no cost to you.

The vision requirements include: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
