Job Description Summary

GE Healthcare has a great opportunity for an Installation Project Manager to support our Imaging Equipment business in Indiana. With your experience in construction projects, you'll own the implementation process for installing our larger Imaging equipment in hospitals and other care centers starting from the sales order review through training customers on their new devices. This is a customer facing position best suited to candidates in Indianapolis, IN.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact between GE Healthcare and the customer on all activities related to installation

  • Drive customer satisfaction and process productivity during the installation

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Identify, escalate, and resolve issues, which might impact customer satisfaction and GE operational targets

  • Work cross functionally with sales and services teams while owning the project management and implementation process for GE Healthcare Diagnostic Imaging

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and two or more years of project management experience; or an associate degree and minimum five years of Project Management experience.

  • Minimum two years’ experience leading cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple priorities to meet scheduled completion dates and customer expectations while based in your home office

  • Effective communication skills

  • Ability to work with and influence team members to achieve mutual goals

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing and able to travel regularly including overnight when required.

Desired Characteristics

  • Formal coursework in project management and experience in construction or working with the building trades.

  • Experience with large-scale project management requirements where deadlines are met on or ahead of schedule.

  • Demonstrated customer service experience working in a clinical environment and familiarity with GE Healthcare products.

  • Proficient with design tools such as AutoCAD and Magic Plan

  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and Six Sigma certification​
