Job Title: Operator

Job Description

As an operator, you will be responsible for converting sealant and coating products from large drums into various sized bottles and containers. Your tasks include operating machinery that pumps the material through a system tailored to specific customer requests, bottling the material, and then labeling and packaging the finished bottles for shipment. You will ensure that order sheets are accurate to what the machine is producing, handle neat labeling, packaging products, and maintain accurate counts of the packaged product. Additional responsibilities may include adding other components to the packaging. The volume of work can range from 200 to 2,400 bottles per day, depending on the material and size of the bottles.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with a possibility of shifting to 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The environment is clean, climate-controlled, and organized, where each operator has a designated station. You are allowed a personal radio at a minimal volume at your station. The community is inclusive, with weekly safety training, and recognition for anniversaries, birthdays, and participation in community service activities. Strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental procedures is required at all times, and awareness of hazard code labels is crucial, especially since some items can be flammable. The company actively participates in 5S activities.
