Make a Difference

The Network Systems Engineer will be primarily responsible for the efficient performance of the Enterprise infrastructure equipment and the efficient movement of traffic throughout the Enterprise network. The Engineer will troubleshoot network systems, implement router/switch configurations, manage current infrastructure equipment inventory levels, all while providing a high-level technical support to other groups within our technical services area, including identifying and resolving problems on supported products utilizing various analysis tools.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.

· Associate degree in information technology preferred.

· In lieu of the above education requirements, a High School Diploma or GED equivalent will be considered.

· Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a large enterprise network environment required, which included a multi-protocol network, problem resolutions, extensive knowledge of the OSI model and familiarity with Cisco Network hardware, network management services and experience with various network monitoring tools and methodologies is highly desired.

· Previous experience with Cisco strongly preferred.

· Cisco CCST or CCNA certification strongly preferred.

· This position will require traveling to various Community Health Network sites of care.

· Participation for on-call responsibilities will be required on a rotational basis.
