Advanced Engineering Consultants-ME Mechanical Engineer in Indianapolis, Indiana

Job Duties:

Engineering design services for various commercial, industrial, and institutional projects:

Operate computer-assisted engineering or design software to perform engineering task.

Prepare technical drawings, specifications of mechanical systems to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.

Monitor engineering cost, product cost, and schedule of assigned job or project under guidance of supervisor.

Work with the supervisor and take necessary inputs, to plan and coordinate concepts, criteria, and goals at the beginning of each project

Check calculations, equipment dimensions, and possible conflicts with other disciplines.

Mechanical(cooling/heating) load calculations, psychrometric analysis, airflow and ventilation calculations, thermodynamics, heat transfer and fluid dynamics concepts, fluid pressure drop calculations, duct sizing, mechanical equipment sizing, mechanical controls, energy modeling, and coordination studies.

Under guidance of supervisor, document the schematics, concepts, specifications related to project.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
