Neovia Logistics Maintenance Technician in Indianapolis, Indiana

JOB SUMMARY

The Maintenance Associate Senior will be responsible for keeping building in clean, working, and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors and dock, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include scheduling and performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, proactively communicate any workload needs that deviate from plan, and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalk and dock.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform general facility maintenance responsibilities such as: Painting, Landscaping, Janitorial Duties, Pest Control, Drywall Patching, Concrete Patching, and Power Washing

  • Adhere and Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on facility equipment

  • Monitor, maintain, amd repair all Powered Industrial Trucks

  • Monitor all Fire Safety Systems throughout facility Delivering timely responses to customer request

  • Proactively coordinate and communicate any workload needs that deviate from plan

  • Proactively communicating anticipated down time to operations when repairs are required

  • Escalate where appropriate any issues/areas needing attention to support Operations

  • Continually monitor workload for Maintenance personnel throughout the shift

  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school education, or GED equivalent

  • 3+ years of Maintenance experience

Preferred:

  • 3+ years experience in Warehouse or Distribution Center Maintenance

  • 2+ years experience with Conveyors and Powered Industrial Equipment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Work requires moderate muscular exertion and/or physical strain such as frequently climbing or, recurring bending, lifting, or lowering of items weight up to 50 pounds.

  • Requires lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling of various items of varying weight.
