IT Specialist

Located at the ASC Home Office in Indianapolis, IN

The IT Specialist provides end-user consulting, system design, project management (both small and large scale), and resolution of complex network and computing issues.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement software and hardware solutions.
  • Resolve end user computing and networking issues utilizing complex toolsets.
  • Project manages software, hardware and other system level implementations and updates.
  • Ensure that end user systems comply with appropriate security standards, participates in defining the standards with the Chief Security Officer (CSO)
  • Consult with end users to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Place orders for equipment needed for small and large projects.
  • Ensure that networks are operating optimally and that issues are resolved with internal and external vendor resources as required.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required, 4 year technical degree preferred.
  • Six months to one year of computer hardware and software support experience
  • Must have networking hardware knowledge, good phone manners and the ability to explain complex IT solutions to non-technical end-users.
  • Ability to use standard Microsoft Office software, general office equipment/hardware and other systems as required.
