About The Role

This internship is crafted for current college students, undergraduate or graduate seeking a career in event management. Participation in the program is intended to provide a well-rounded knowledge of the event space and valuable skills, earned by working alongside dedicated professionals.

The internship accelerates your learning and development by providing you with a great foundation upon which to build your event management career. The program provides you with an outstanding perspective on our coordinated service lines. As a program participant, you will also partake in learning and development activities crafted especially for you.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in event setup and teardown

  • Coordinate upcoming events across the different Indianapolis locations

  • Assist the current staff during events to help accommodate any real time requests

  • Provide support in making sure inventory is sufficient

  • Help event staff with material runs

  • Work closely with the client to ensure everything has been pre-planned for each event

What You'll Need

  • A strong academic background, preferably in the event management/hospitality.

  • Self-motivated, creative and focused, seeking to excel in the event management industry.

  • Desire to work in the event management space

  • Experience with MS Office

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Ability to network and develop positive relationships

  • Diligent and highly organized

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
