OMS provides highly integrated, comprehensive manufacturing solutions to customers who build equipment and manage projects that shape the world we live in – ranging from locomotives to forklifts and bulldozers to power generation equipment. The Customer Service Representative will be the day to day contact point for defined, existing customers. This person will be responsible for managing customer needs. This individual will also be charged with deepening and strengthening OMS' relationship with their respective customer base.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Learn, apply and promote the Vision, Mission and Values of O’Neal Manufacturing Services.

  • Coordinate and enter production orders. These orders may be transmitted via e-mail or various other systems.

  • Engage, learn and utilize the Supplier Website of assigned customers.

  • Assist in the resolution of customer problems / complaints.

  • Initiate RA’s, credits and debits as required.

  • Create, organize, maintain and update customer files.

  • Coordinate and expedite orders from suppliers of outsourced components. These may be items purchased complete or item components used in the plant to produce finished goods.

  • Review inventory for availability of needed materials and manage orders in the company database.

  • Experience in using Microsoft office applications and Microsoft Excel.

  • Basic knowledge of plant processing equipment

Required Skills: To qualify for consideration, an applicant must possess the following skills. Possession of these skills is a prerequisite for employment.

  • Minimum of two years' experience in a customer service role, Industrial or Manufacturing customer service preferred.

  • Experience managing "major" accounts.

  • Experience in using Microsoft office applications, MS Word, MS Excel, and CRM systems.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.

  • Reliability, ability to respond to shifting priorities using time management skills.

  • Ability to self manage, multi task and effectively use time management skills.

Education: Associate’s degree or currently pursuing such degree preferred.

Special Skills (above average skill required): handling outside contacts, communication (both oral & written), presentation skills, interdepartmental cooperation, self development and improvement, interpersonal skills, self motivation, negotiation, versatility, organizing and planning, problem solving, creativity and financial review.
