We are seeking an Associate Director-Learning and Development MQ IT Systems to join our Global Manufacturing and Quality Learning and Development (GMQLD) team. The GMQLD provides learning solutions to help Lilly's Manufacturing and Quality organizations achieve our mission of making medicine with safety first and quality always. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in defining, implementing, and maintaining large-scale learning strategies aimed at enhancing organizational capabilities related to Global MQ IT systems. This role will collaborate with Tech@Lilly, Manufacturing and Quality leaders and learners, Global Learning Solutions, Learning and Development colleagues, and vendors to ensure our learning and performance support solutions align with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance Consultant/Client Management

  • Partner with senior manufacturing and Tech@Lilly leaders to develop and influence strategies for capability development related to MQ Digital Strategy.

  • Provide near term and long term forecast for L&D related projects/initiatives for supported IT systems.

  • Collaborate with leadership to scope and prioritize the portfolio of learning solutions and determine integration points across functions, sites, and/or geographies.

  • Analyze business needs, develop, and implement learning interventions and evaluation strategies.

  • Evaluate, assess and summarize progress for implemented learning interventions and other related initiatives.

  • Stay updated on technologies and learning solutions to drive effective learning methods, solutions, and outcomes.

  • Collaborate to drive internal L&D process improvements that impact results within a function, site, or geography.

Manage Portfolio of Learning Solutions

  • Ensure Audit-Readiness of learning solutions, working with auditors, inspectors, regulators, or outside partners as required.

  • Provide leadership of governance processes as assigned.

  • Introduce and maintain use of innovative tools and processes that drive learning effectiveness.

  • Anticipate and resolve issue points on associated learning business problems.

  • Lead the establishment and maintenance of the curriculum architecture.

  • Define qualification programs based on business and regulatory requirements.

  • Prioritize and manage learning activities and requests appropriately, including reporting and troubleshooting.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree

  • 5+ years of experience in implementing innovative learning solutions and performance support tools.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in defining and implementing learning strategies for large-scale IT systems.

  • Experience in learning solution design and implementation.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and at all levels of an organization.

  • Demonstrated performance guiding skills.

  • Demonstrated project management skills.

  • Experience in building and maintaining effective relationships at various leadership levels and with collaborator/supplier organizations.

  • Proficiency in English.

Additional Skills/Preferences:

  • Experience working in Manufacturing and Quality/GMP-regulated environments.

  • Proficient in budget management and cost-saving initiatives.

  • Ability to effectively partner globally.

  • Skilled in data analysis to inform decisions.

  • Ability to navigate complex, matrix-based organizations.

  • M.S. degree in Instructional Systems Technology, Performance Technology, Adult Learning, Human Resources, or related experience/education.

  • Human Performance Improvement (HPI) Certification.

  • Some travel expected.

Additional Information:

Lilly currently anticipates that the base salary for this position could range from between $117,000 to $171,600 and will depend, in part, on the successful candidate’s qualifications for the role, including education and experience. Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees, including eligibility to participate in a company-sponsored 401(k); pension; vacation benefits; eligibility for medical, dental, vision and prescription drug benefits; flexible benefits (e.g., healthcare and/or dependent day care flexible spending accounts); life insurance and death benefits; certain time off and leave of absence benefits; and well-being benefits (e.g., employee assistance program, fitness benefits, and employee clubs and activities).Of course, the compensation described above is subject to change and could be higher or lower than the range described above.
