Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk based in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role is crucial for handling treasury processes including financial, administrative and clerical support. The main focus will be on making payments owed by the company to suppliers and handling vendor invoices or bills.

Responsibilities:

• Handle a variety of treasury processes including financial, administrative, and clerical support.

• Responsible for making payments owed by the company to suppliers.

• Process vendor invoices or bills in a timely manner.

• Regularly interact with associates throughout the enterprise.

• Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP) and Workday to handle accounts payable duties.

• Report to the Manager of Treasury Disbursements as required.

• Ensure all payments and invoices are tracked and recorded accurately.

• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to vendor payments.

• Monitor and maintain records of all transactions for future reference.

• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth processing of all payments. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with the Workday software

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Experience in a similar role would be advantageous

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field would be beneficial

• High level of integrity and trustworthiness
