Role and Responsibilities

RMC is hiring for Cloud Solutions Architect to support our customers in Indian Head, MD (Main Side). The selected applicant will provide virtual collaboration technology support to US Navy Systems.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience designing, implementing, and maintaining DoD compliant computing environments in Microsoft Azure and AWS Government Cloud environments (IL4, IL5 and IL6)

  • Ability to design, implement and maintain networks in Microsoft Azure and AWS utilizing cloud-native resources.

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure, VNet, Security Groups, and Azure Active Directory.

  • Experience providing administration supporting cloud-based policies and procedures.

  • Experience with automation of provisioning and management of cloud resources.

  • Experience with cloud-native operations and monitoring best practices, including capacity, performance and security.

  • Experience with cloud-native disaster recovery and Continuity of Operations (COOP).

  • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a large team.

    Preferred Skills

  • Experience modernizing data technology and information architecture in Microsoft Azure and AWS Government Cloud environments (IL4, IL5, IL6).

  • Experience executing technology modernization initiatives including migrating network infrastructure to cloud native environments utilizing cloud technologies.

  • Experience supporting all functions of IaaS to include disaster recovery, high availability, security, reliability, and DoD compliance.

  • Familiarity with security frameworks and standards and their application in Government cloud environments.

    Certification Requirements

  • AZ-104: Azure Administrator Associate

  • AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions

  • A DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 (Security+ CE or equivalent) is required.

    An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

    RMC employees may be subject to COVID-19 vaccination or testing requirements in order to access government facilities.
