Job Description About the role Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will act like the 2IC and will be responsible for overseeing and managing the efficient effective operations of the Seven Hills DC. It requires excellent organisational skills and understanding on leading a team. A strong ability to multitask, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of product through the warehouse, ensuring inventory is accurate, storage is optimised whilst maintaining a safe and productive work environment at all times. Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective warehouse processes, procedures, and policies to maximize efficiency and minimize errors at the Seven Hills DC. Implement and leverage warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technologies at the Seven Hills DC to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff at the Seven Hills DC, including supervisors, warehouse associates, and administrative personnel. Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations. Oversee inventory control processes at the Seven Hills DC, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping. Ensure accurate inventory counts and timely replenishment. Ensure a safe work environment for all employees at the Seven Hills DC. Enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of safety awareness. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to optimize supply chain efficiency at the Seven Hills DC and maintain positive relationships. Identify areas for process improvement at the Seven Hills DC and drive initiatives to enhance warehouse operations, including automation and efficiency projects. Uphold the Kraft Heinz values and to work in a way that contributes to the company's vision and strategy. About you Strong technical knowledge in warehouse management systems. Proven experience in logistics and operations environment Proficient in computer systems, including Microsoft office software, databases, and inventory management software. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills both verbal and written. Collaboration with internal teams and vendors/customers. Ability to meet deadlines and time management skills. Continuous improvement mindset and actively seeking to improve warehouse operations and enhance efficiency.
