The Credit & Collections (Account Receivable) Representative takes a wide range of responsibilities to maintain collections operations within the Accounting Team. The position is responsible for handling an assigned portfolio of customers, prioritizing collection of invoices and identifying / resolving any issues blocking payment. In addition, interact professionally with internal and external customers.

Main responsibilities:

  • Seek and follow the customer accounts in accordance with the priorities and the methodology.

  • Reminders / accounts statements management :

  • Issue of any cases requiring customer concern or any support.

  • Look after Ebilling rejections, identify possible root causes and resolve possible issues with the support of our internal departments.

  • Customer accounts maintenance and orders on hold management :

  • Maintain and update customer accounts data, conduct credit assessment and adapt credit limit in our ERP.

  • Check our current Approval Matrix

  • Look after the generic mailbox in rotation with the rest of the team, with the paper mail, the incoming calls. Collaboration with the Team, the Manager in other related duties as assigned.

YOUR PROFILE:

First or several successful experiences in that role, you have excellent verbal and written communication skills (many interactions with the internal and external departments). You are truly committed to customer satisfaction.

Rigorous, you are diligent to detail and solution oriented.

Requirements

  • Full time student completing bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related areas.

  • Proficiency in English and French. A good level of German or Italian is a plus.

  • Good knowledge in MS office tools - Excel and Word.

Experience Related

Work or internship experience helpful, specially in customer oriented functions.
