Successful candidates will be capable of building strong relationships with engineering, general contracting, and other project influencers to secure hard specifications that meet and exceed customers’ requirements. An ideal candidate will use all USDD’s portfolio products to maximize the use of USDD technology to support codes and standards, client expectations and future growth potential. Beginning with initial technical needs analysis, then building and submitting quality, professional design and budgetary assessments for their review and approval. Translating customers’ technical needs to wired system design drawings layered on top of floor plans for each customer location. This role is fully #remote.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.

YOU WILL

  • Educate and demonstrate for stakeholders the benefits of USDD offerings including, but not limited to in person demonstrations, dispatch centers/fire stations walk throughs, and virtual meetings.

  • Use technical acumen to evaluate and provide recommendations and best practices to serve the customer’s needs.

  • Keeping all communications and customer intelligence up to date in corporate CRM and PM software.

  • Consistently conducting and maintaining research to better understand the competitive marketplace.

  • Partner with Regional Territory Managers to build demand for USDD offerings.

  • Travel required 25-50% of the time

MUST HAVE:

  • 5 plus years experience in low-volt system design and proposal generation (with programs such as AutoCAD, Visio, d-tools, etc.).

  • 3 years experience with US Digital Designs offerings and/or similar offerings.

WE VALUE:

  • Public Safety subject matter expertise (preferable Fire, Medic, Dispatch).

  • College degree preferred, but relevant experience will be considered.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.

  • Experience in standard productivity software suites (Google, Microsoft Office, etc.).

  • Knowledge of project management software applications, such as Trello and Asana.

  • Experience working with CRM software - SalesForce is preferred.

  • Strong and independent organizational skills.

  • Ability to travel to U.S.-based events.

This role is fully #remote but requires travel. Ideal candidates will live in the continuous US and within reasonable distance to a major airport.
