Southern Ute Tribe Home & Community Health Services Manager in Ignacio, Colorado

POSITION: Home & Community Health Services Manager.

DUTIES: Responsible for the management and administration of all Home and Community Health Services, programs, and projects within the employer's Health Services Division.

REQUIREMENTS: Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent. Have experience in customer service. Have knowledge of grant writing and compliance, budget administration, and accounting procedures. Have experience in computer software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Needs to provide current immunization records or obtain required immunizations at the Tribal Health Center prior to starting work to meet regulations required for all clinical providers. Needs to provide recent TB test results or be able to obtain a TB test at the Tribal Health Center prior to starting work.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Hiring preference will be given to enrolled Native Americans. Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related area. Experience working in Public Health or Home Health. Knowledge and familiarity with the Southern Ute Indian Tribe and/or Native American Tribes or organizations. Familiarity with Indian Health Service health programs. General knowledge of Indian Self Determination P.L. 93-638. Experience with IHS medical record system. Must have a valid Driver's License for state of residency and be insurable under the Tribal vehicle insurance policy. Must pass a thorough criminal history background check, fingerprint check, and pre-employment drug test.

WAGES: This position is a grade E14; pay range starts at $64,155.00/year.

SHIFTS: Monday - Friday (8:00 am - 5:00 pm)

JOBS SITE: Ignacio, CO.
