1) Job Description

  • Define, negotiate and track quality requirements towards suppliers

  • Responsibility for quality-related part of supplier strategy

  • Quality-related releases of new suppliers, technologies for purchased parts

  • Supplier development

  • Improve / keep quality level of suppliers

  • Manage high-level escalations

2) Job Qualification

  • Good knowledge of Quality Tools (PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, SPC, R@R etc..)

  • Proven hands on experience in problem solving in Automotive domain, and practical knowledge on any of the problem-solving tools (Eg: 8D, A3, 6-Sigma etc.) and read across management

  • Experience in Performing Process Audits, and Knowledge on VDA 6.3 would be added advantage

  • Minimum 5 year’s experience with bachelors preferably Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering within Automotive

  • Be good oral/written English skill, good communication and presentation skill

  • At least 3 years of work Experience with Quality Function or Managing Suppliers

  • Knowledge of mechanical parts manufacture technologies, experience in the following technologies will be preferred: machining, casting, stamping, heat treatment ……
