The platform empowers customers to easily customize, develop, and deploy business applications that work online and offline, for consumption on mobile devices and the web, without the need to write code.

The Copilot Accelerator team within Power Platform is to rapidly enable the growth of Microsoft Copilot Studio adoption and growth by building cutting edge Copilots, Autonomous AI agents and also enable an ecosystem that will help our partners to adopt and contribute to this growth. We integrate cutting-edge AI technology in products for “low code\no-code” app developers to build apps and extensions. The platform, apps and extensions will power the business applications and be the extensibility story for M365.

As a Software Engineer in the Power Apps Platform – Copilot Accelerator team you will work on cutting edge technology to build the services, templates and apps that reach and engages millions of users while increasing their productivity

Responsibilities

  • Design & implement well-defined interfaces across multiple components, code reviews, leveraging data/telemetry to make decisions. 

  • Implement and maintain automated monitoring infrastructure leveraging and implementing the right level of telemetry to observe production traffic and constantly fine tune them to mitigate and solve Livesite issues.

  • Writing and maintaining End to End, Integration and Unit tests for the features and choosing the right style of tests to provide confidence in a feature being shipped.

  • Striving for a better engineering culture focusing on cleaner, performant codebase with clear and frequent code reviews, building and updating wikis for processes, driving the root cause while postmortem Ing incidents.

  • Develops and shares best practices that emphasize accessibility, performance, and reusability.

  • Involved in supporting a rotational on-call cadence.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications :

  • 2-4 years in software development in a distributed services environment

  • Knowledge of PowerApps, Portals / Power Pages and Dynamics 365Microsoft Azure, AWS or similar cloud computing platforms

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with PowerApps, Portals / Power Pages and Dynamics 365

  • Strong problem-solving and design skills

  • Strong communication and critical thinking abilities.

  • Ability to work with multiple partner teams to deliver impact
